Yangzhou Wenchang Pavilion Holiday Inn Express Holiday

rating: 4/5

We stayed in the Holiday Inn Express Yangzhou City Centre hotel from our second night to the last night of our trip. This hotel was a new hotel, it's furnishing and its decorations all brand new, giving us a very refreshed feeling. I enjoyed staying in the hotel as it was comfortable and very relaxed place for us to take our rests. Each night after a long day and after our debriefs. I enjoyed the service of the staff over there as each day before we left the hotel, our clothes and stuff would be strewn all over the room. But each night, we return back to the hotel, seeing a very neatly packed and cleaned room. The food provided in the morning for breakfast were homely, not too heavy but neither is it too light. I find it appropriate for us students as there was enough varieties of food for us to choose from. The only thing I probably disliked about the hotel was the fact that the air conditional temperate. Whenever we set the temperate to about twenty plus degrees, somehow, in the middle of the night, the temperature would always drop to eighteen degrees, making us feel the cold. Overall, I enjoyed this hotel compared to the first hotel that we stayed in the first night
The second hotel room which we stayed during our overseas trip. This bathroom of this hotel may not be as big as the one in shanghai but at least it has internet access in the room, which allow us to contact with our parents during platforms such as whatsapp. Most of our rooms were also together so I feel that more bonding of the class can take place here as compared to if we were in the Shanghai hotel.
